5. Iraqi defectors have said that Saddam had several mobile biological weapons labs. He has not disclosed or shown evidence of their destruction.
6. The IAEA confirmed in the 1990s that Saddam had an advanced nuclear weapons development program, had a design for a weapon and was working on five different methods of enriching uranium. BRITISH GOVERNMENT HAS LEARNED THAT HUSSEIN RECENTLY SOUGHT SIGNIFICANT QUANITIES OF URANIUM. US Intelligence has sources that say Saddam has attempted to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear weapons production.
7. Intelligence sources say that thousands of Iraqi security personnel are at work hiding documents and materials from inspectors.
8. Iraq is blocking U-2 surveillance flights.
9. Intelligence indicates that Saddam has ordered scientists who cooperate with UN inspectors to be killed along with their families.
He went on to make additional points about the known horrors of Saddam's regime and the possibility of what a nuclear or biological arsenal could mean to the region or the world if in the hands terrorists.
