My Wisconsin born & bred daughter lives in New Jersey. She thinks the econazis, treehuggers and various assorted anti-hunting nuts are just that--NUTS. She looks at the 12 deer herd that grazes in her backyard as venison. The nuts look at them as Bambi.

I live in Northwest NJ, and have seen an increase in the number of black bears roaming my neighborhood in the last three years. I nearly tripped over one last semester after I came home from a night class. The garage light was off, and I thought my neighbor's black lab was walking near our garbage cans. Since then, I have made a habit of keeping bear mace in my car, and I also don't put out the garbage unless my good friend Glock is with me.
