From Lebanon, Mounir Moqdah, a veteran of the Israel-Palestine conflict, is recruiting rogue members of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, a splinter group of Yasser Arafat’s Fatah. Moqdah, a disciple of Arafat, and his accomplices do not accept the current cease-fire between the Israelis and the Palestinians and have been responsible for many of the shootings that have taken place since its inception. Israel asserts that Iran funds the rogue group, but Moqdah insists that the group utilizes the internet for much of its fundraising and recruitment.
