It speaks to immigration, "multi-culturalism", and multi-ligualism...definitely worth a bookmark...

Great care needs to be taken when quoting the Founders in regards to immigration. You'll often find them talking in terms of how foreigners should be "admitted" to the country, but when you look at the context, it appears that they're talking about whether to admit them as citizens, not whether to let them set foot in the country. The first federal attempt to pass an immigration control law was the Chinese Exclusion Act in the 1880's.
