Roll your own! I roll my own, and for under $8.00, I have a beautiful CARTON of cigarettes. LOVE it!

Quit when you finish those cartons and they'll never get another cent from you. I roll my own. For under $8.00, I roll a beautiful CARTON of cigarettes and I am NOT paying into the state coffers any longer. It's been two years now. I love it!

You forgot your sarcasm tag.
They sell 'em for as high as $8 USD in Grand Central Station, because the platforms are the only safe place in the city to smoke.

Sounds like the Indians made a bad deal.
But here's a nice demonstration of naked state power in pretty color photographs.
Next, MacDonald's, judging from the barrage of "news" stories about obesity. First, the demonization - then the sky's the limit.
Whittaker Chambers was right, he went over to the losing side.
I admire him greatly for it.

In return for its "protection" money, the Mafia actually has to provide protection. That is the primary difference between it and the government of Rhode Island..

They were lucky the police did not kill them.
Why?
Because they can.

the mask is slippingNo need for a mask when the populous is blind. And those that can see it are driven mad, or at least regarded as such by the blind. : (

About time for another real tea party. I'm afraid it's far too late.
Long before I found FreeRepublic and other web sources, about seven years ago, I used to say to friends, "Within ten years, there's going to be another revolution in this country.......IF I HAVE TO START IT MYSELF!!!".
Since then I have realized that that is only a dream, it is all just going to come crashing down all by itself. I think it has started.

Man that pisses me off! Is that a woman in the top pic? Looks like that state needs some men to step up to the plate and deal with this B.S.

I remember $3/carton in the early sixties but I also remember $1/carton in Vietnam -- limit one a week. Worked for me!

Next, MacDonald's, judging from the barrage of "news" stories about obesity. First, the demonization - then the sky's the limit. Hey! I had Fox News on today, and one of their headlines was: MacDonald's Happy Meals as Addicting As Heroin."
I had to go grocery shopping and missed the story, but can you believe it?
Now, I wonder what idiot group put THAT out?

I suspect this will get worse as time goes by, nothing as nasty as a state without it's cash cow.

Hey, just because they are Indians doesn't mean they don't have to help out the local politicians with expenses (if you know what I mean). The Indians already have a significant economic advantage. It would be unfair to other local merchants who pay the sort of unofficial "tax" to allow the Indians to avoid it. Let's be fair. What the heck is fair about taxing smokers for every penny they have........... I say, if the state doesn't like it....TOUGH BEANS.
