The line of duty of being Clinton bodyguards, or the duty of laying seige to a group for political fundraising purposes?

"Lost in the Line of Duty"

They weren't "lost,"
rather they were "invested".

Koresh was in town and they could have grabbed him then. Instead these employees were invested by their superiors in a vain effort to get publicity for their agency and to thereby garner additional appropriations from Congress,

i.e., to put it in simple terms:
They died trying to get your tax dollars.

Guys, While sitting on his bench in a Federal Court, during sentencing of the surviving victims of the Government's JBTs, U.S. District Judge Walter Smith said, "Mistakes by Federal officers are not an issue before this Court!"<P>

This was BEFORE Congress passed and Clinton signed the "Crime Bill" that stated that, "Federal Officers cannot be held responsible for their 'mistakes' if they are 'acting in good faith'".<P>
==================================

If "Mistakes by Federal officers are not an issue before this Court!", then where in any system of justice ARE "mistakes" an issue???? NOT at the appelate level it would seem.

WHY do lawyers, "investigators" and other "experts" NEVER focus on the initial raid, that was an obvious exercise in fascism {winning hearts and minds of the whole populace by "grabbing them by the balls"}, that was the cause of the whole mess and the ending conflageration that killed "Scores of Branch Davidian members, including leader David Koresh". This initial raid was based on a bogus {lies used to obtain it} warrant that was NOT presented in the early morning hours of that fateful Sunday, because it "was left back at the office". This "no-knock" raid was made upon these people who, a few years earlier, had to fend off an armed assault by a faction of members of the "cult" who disputed leadership.

Members of the "cult" had federal licenses and traded firearms at gun shows, so the "arsenal" could well have been inventory. Later charges {"justifying" the raid} of "child abuse" were shown to be unsubstantiated by Texas state and County official records. Janet Reno's Jack Booted Thugs, on KNOWN spurious charges, meant to assault a formerly peaceful group that was sleeping soundly on a Sunday morning. It didn't work. REMEMBER WACO!!! Peace and love, George.
