There are some people who just don't want to believe in a connection and will do whatever they can to discredit those that do believe in the AQ/Iraq connection.

Thanks.
I mean to another website.
I'm battling with some libs on another board and if I post something from FR, well you know how that goes.
Any other links?

Who is Mylroie? Is she credible? I haven't seen anything about this on the news.
To: Steve_Seattle
She wrote a book about Saddam Hussein.
Study of Revenge: Saddam Hussein's Unfinished War Against America. By Laurie Mylroie. Washington, D.C.: The AEI Press, 2000. Photographs. Index. Pp. 321. $24.95. ISBN 0-84474127-2
Haven't read it. But I've seen some quotes from it.
To: nuffsenuff
Thanks.

Mylroie is very credible. Watching this hearing was agony. Yaphe, the former CIA analyst for Iraq, was an almost painfully smug disaster. I can't imagine an intelligence analyst in the world who would be pleased to either work with or have her on the same team. Ben-Veniste was his usual snide self. The usual Dem hired-gun was brought in to try to destroy Myhlroie. He didn't accomplish the task, and as usual played without prompting the role of the person you'd most like to punch in the face.

#What website did you get this from?
To: Peach
You can search Bin Laden's writings (putative and real) and the reports written about him and I defy anyone to find one damning word he ever uttered against Saddam Hussein. He actually supported Hussein's occupation of Kuwait. At the first meeting of the radical Popular Arab and Islamic Conference held in Khartoum in April 1991 representatives of Iran, Iraq and Bin Laden all broke bread together. In the years that followed intelligence operatives of all three nations worked together in Yemen and Somalia.
Bin Laden might have dispised the Baath Party but he would work with anyone who would help destroy the West.
