Need to be careful of the source here. Although I agree with most of the points regarding the nature of Islam, many Muslims would vehemently disagree with the tone used here, as well as the interpretation of the violent methods expoused.

There is reason for Americans to be concerned, but the author is just plain wrong about Muhammad and Islamic history. He has failed to distinguish between the Saudi-derived Wahhabi extremist religion, which is a totalitarian death-cult and a perversion of Islam, and the many traditional Muslim sects who are peaceful and who have lived peacefully with each other for centuries in many parts of the world (as well as with the Jewish and Christians).

The Saudi-bankrolled Wahhabi extremist movement has largely colonized the United States with its churches, mosques, schools and charitable organizations. They silence the voice of traditional Muslims, as the Wahhabis claim to be the only true Islam, and they kill both Muslims and non-Muslims who do not accept their faith. (of course they can't kill traditional Muslims in the U.S., but they discriminate against them, threaten them, and they are the only voice we hear from our government and media. In fact, President Bush was accompanied by several Wahhabis after 9/11, when he proclaimed to the U.S. that Islam was a religion of peace--I am sure he didn't know--Grover Norquist talked him into that media-opportunity).

A most fascinting book to read is:
The Two Faces of Islam: The House of Sa'ud from Tradition to Terror by Stephen Schwartz, a scholar who has impeccable credentials for writing about the topic.

Islam is a murder cult. Period.

It's a religion for medieval, desert, barbarians and it preaches violence and death towards anyone who won't convert. Wherever Islam has set up shop and taken over a government, the native population is brutally oppressed under Islamic law. Christians, Hinuds, Budhists, etc, are mercilessly subjegated at the hands of Muslims in those countries that have become Islamic states.

You can't even own a Bible in Saudi Arabia. You can't bring one into the country.

Christians are enslaved or killed in the Sudan, Nigeria, etc. The Islamofascists are killing Christians left and right in Indonesia and the Phillipines.

Islam is a plague on the human race.
