Gee eating via a G tube is pretty common now a days.
Why can't the family be awarded Guardianship for her care.
This judge must be from the pre medical technology days.
Can she gesture to say yes or no cognitively(sp).
If so why not divorce her husband and have her parents as care providers or guardians.
The Catholic church is very clear on the use of tube feedings.
If Terri was a practicing Catholic at the time of injury could she use this as a defense to continue receiveing nutrition.
Amazing that even considering to stop feedings is even an option in this case.
I don't think the husband is going to win this one.
Again if he does not want to be involved with her care why not divorce her?

The husband will not divorce Terri because he stands to inherit whatever is left of a million dollar settlement she received in a malpractice suit. This money, which was designated to take care of Terri for the rest of her life, is being used by the husband to pay his attrney to pursue all these court actions to kill her.
He is beneath contempt.
Please, FReepers, sign the petition so that Terri may live out her life until natural death.
