Yes, Beijing really fears that our democracy movement here would spread to their backyard. All news broadcasts are censored. All web sites carry this news are blocked. All news magazines like Time, Newsweek, etc. are censored too. This weeks Economists is on sale in China with one page torn off. But news still keep leaking through, they cannot stop radio broadcast near the border. Personal emails are too numerous to censor too.
It is funny to see how Beijing avoids democracy like SARS.
