Excellent! Thanks for posting.

Blair could have been talking about the Rats here:
To be a serious partner, Europe must take on and defeat the crass anti-Americanism that sometimes passes for its political discourse

Fantastic speech he gave. One would think that it would shut up the left, but it will not. They smell blood and like a pack of raging wolves they will continue to undermine our security, and demoralize our military.

What a powerful long visioned and clear sighted speech. If you can read it or hear it dry eyed you are really tough. That Europe's scrapping nations see that they must join together and work to provide liberty and free trade to their people is truly miraculous, considering the conditions not too long ago.
"They want a Europe of nations not a super state". Let us dearly hope so, because only with this in place will the EU survive and be viable, otherwise, it is doomed. The US of A is the only really powerful government who can lead other nations to liberty and freedom with the cooberation of free European counries. We are the prototype. The Original.
Poor France, embarking on a revolution on the heels of the US War of Indepencence, collapsed into anarchy, then totalitarianism and then imperialism to whateveritissocialism they have today. For all our concern and help we could not affect their course. How sad.
England,on whose empire the sun never set is reduced to a liberal socialistic country smothered under immigraton and taxes. Albeit they introduced the Rule of Law into the World.
I am so proud to be an American, and once again, proud of our President and his administration. I am proud of Tony Blair for his farsightedness and friendship born of long association. God Bless Britannia and the United States of America!

He has met his moment in history as no one in Britain could have imagined but here we have simply accepted him as a statesman and a great ally. The cost to him is great at home and we are grateful.

They (the Democrats) smell blood
The great Canadian columnist Mark Steyn recently wrote: "The Democrats smell blood in the water. What they don't seem to realize is that it's their own."

I know its hard on America. And in some small corner of this vast country in Nevada or Idaho, these places I've never been but always wanted to go, there's a guy getting on with his life, perfectly happily, minding his own business, saying to you the political leaders of this nation: why me? Why us? Why America? And the only answer is: because destiny put you in this place in history, in this moment in time and the task is yours to do.
And when you say this, to practically every American, he will nod and roll up his sleeves.
