1:41PM Pelosi seeks pension vote anulled by Corbett B. Daly
WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., called for House of Representatives to annul the approval in the House Ways and Means Committee of a bill that would change pension laws. Earlier in the day, House Republicans called the police after Democrats walked out of a House committee vote on pension reforms. Pelosi called it an "indignity" to call the police on the Democrats. The Democrats had objected to a procedural move by committee Chairman Bill Thomas, R-Calif., and tried to delay the vote. While Democrats were out of the room, Thomas pushed the bill through unanimously on a voice vote. A Republican staffer asked Capitol Police to remove the Democrats from the room where they had taken refuge. The Democrats left on their own. The bill approved was a substitute for the Portman-Cardin pension bill, which would alter the way companies calculate pension liabilities and would also reform IRA and 401(k) plans.

I am from the Ptown, but now I live in Eureka, I'm so sick of the hippies, they are the rudest bunch of SOBs. I'm glad to see what hippies really are about: drugs, homosexuality, hate, prejudice, anti America, hairy chicks. We're getting ready to move to SLO, we went to school at Cal Poly. We are going to work on rental number 2 , meanwhile well work and take some classes.
The spelling police would pretty much avoid an argument by criticizing my spelling; so I decided not to care to much anymore.

(J Marshall asserted the Court's monopoly on the interpretation of the Constitution, may he burn)
A Democrat member just said (in the C-SPAN re-run) that the reason they couldn't back to the hearing is because they were being held up by the police. So they couldn't get out of the room because they were being held up by police telling them to get out of the room. Uh huh. Yeah.

Oh Lord, every time I hear the name of that witch I flashback to that soul twisting picture of her that some wit posted here on FR several months ago. She was at some sick and perverted SF party and was dressed up (if you could call it that) in leather that showed way too much of the saggy, baggy, flappy stuff. Shudder!!

An airhead IN DEED... I think she's also had one too many face lifts... it is amazing she can even blink much less close her eyes.

Jennifer Dunn now saying the Dems have no credibility to defend Stark--this is certainly not the first time he has behaved like this.

Oh goodness. Here's John Lewis trying to compare this to the struggle of the civil rights movement...calling himself "a man of peace."

Hey! You gotta get away from coastal CA to find any REAL red-blooded Americans!!! SLO's got 'em just as bad as Humbolt County!
Even here on the western slope, the dopes keep movin in and turnin it into the slippery slope... potheads, hotheads, C.A.V.E. dwellers (Citizens Against Virtually Everything), and they're thinnin out the conservative gene pool way faster than I like.
My grampa used to live in Eureka, Arcata actually, a long time before the place became puked up with liberal commie socialist enviro-whackos, galore!!!

Matsui supports nothing but dikes around Sacramento!!! He has done only one thing his whole professional politician life and that is to fight the completion of Auburn Dam so CA's Crapitol will be flooded so then he can be a hero collecting FEMA money to rebuild the city he grossly misrepresents!!! The man is obsessed with dikes and probably dykes, as well...

Room was pre-reserved for other members, as well to stomp on scumbags who think they are above the rules. They were asked to go to another room, and they informed the office "We will not be removed". Then they had their flunkie to cause a scene. I am proud of the Rep. from Colorado, as if I were in his place the skank would have been dragged outside where he would leave looking like a racoon.

HA! I think the democrats are about to learn how to deal with a fed-up Republican majority! Excellent! With few exceptions, I don't think our side has shown any cajones in standing up to the Demon Cats, since the 1940s. If they are now, I would say it is about dang time.

Was she always like that, or has the botox injected in her face started leaking into her brain?Possibly it is the fumes from her make-up that she applies with a caulking gun...
