Now it will be interesting to see how long it takes the rest of the bad guys in the city to figure out that invading homes there may not be a good idea.

This is apparently an increasing phenomenon, as long established neighborhoods decline, elderly retired people cannot afford to move away, and they are tagged as 'easy marks' for robbery of cash and valuables. A relative down south nearby had been robbed repeatedly in the same way before he passed on. Oftentimes they will gain entry by requesting to use the phone, etc. There's something about taking advantage of the elderly that especially bothers me.
