FOLLOWING ARE TWO PROFOUND INTELLECTUAL STATEMENTS UTTERED BY U.S. REP. PETE STARK:
'Oh, you think you are big enough to make me, you little wimp? Come over here and make me. I dare you,'
"You little fruitcake, you little fruitcake. I said you are a fruitcake."
MY COMMENT: PETE STARK, NUT, GET HIM OUT!

Seems like the Rats are suffering from mass insanity these days. Of course, they always did, but now it's starting to affect their self-control. Ya gotta love it!

"Stark's less-than-soaring rhetoric..."
Best line in the whole article.

The old adage, it takes one(Pete Stark(D-CA) shouting "fruitcake" and other insults) to know one, comes to mind.

The controversy began when Thomas, R-Calif., quickly gaveled through a committee vote on a pension finances bill that Democrats say they had not had enough time to review.
According to reports today the republicans submitted a 70 page bill and wanted a vote without even allowing time for it to be read. If true that places the story in a little different perspective.
After the Patriot Act I prefer people actually reading legislation they vote on.

I got to see the reading of the minutes on the floor of the House wherein the shrill hate filed and physically threatening words of Rep. Stark were put out for all to hear again, as well as the weak protestations in defense by the members of Stark's political party.
ROTFLOL as I witnessed the public acts of self-destruction by the Democrats.
The questions that I have and that I know will not be answered by the eager and vile GW haters and their willing enablers in the media and on the left are:
Is not the use in that manner of the word fruitcake as "flag word" against the Gays and constitutes under recently passed federal law a hate crime?
Is not the taunting words of Rep. Stark with clearly implied threats of violence an action that creates a hostile work environment and a is clear violation of federal law as well?
Any bets that there will be no response addressing this from the enablers, the left or the DimoWits?

The old hippie communist Stark is not aging very well.

I think it's very important to keep in mind what the Democrats were specifically opposing here. The bill was intended to increase contribution limits to 401(k) and IRA savings plans. The move would "cost" the government 10 billion dollars over the next 5 years. (pardon me, that's how the Washington Post wrote it)
In short the Republicans are trying to make it possible for people to save money for their retirement without the government taking it in taxes first, and the Democrats are trying to stop them. THAT needs to be the issue, not the childish name calling.

Was that a gay slur? Heavens!

I believe there is a legal privilege for Senators and Representatives to use such language on the floor of Congress. I think they can slander another Senator or Representative on the floor, also, and not be subject to a civil suit by the slanderee.

After the Patriot Act I prefer people actually reading legislation they vote on.I'm confused. I thought the legislation was being read aloud, line by line, just as the Democrats requested, when all-but-one of them left the room.
Since the Democrats left that room, how was orally reading the legislation (line-by-line) going to be of any use to them?
If the Democrats actually wanted to read the legislation, why didn't most of them remain in the room where it was being read out loud? Why did only one, lonely Democratic soul remain behind?
Some people might easily conclude that the Democrats didn't really want to read the legislation.

Can you imagine if a conservative uttered the words Stark used? They would be behind bars.
Nagging question: Why were the police directed to the library? Certainly Thomas has something to apoligize for, or at least explain. This isn't passing the smell test.

Its all about who controls the pension funds.
Present day Unions are primarily pension fund vehicles.
Democrats have to keep unions in constrol of the pension funds or they will not have major contributors. The LAST place a democrat politician wants money is in the hands of the voters. ( (s)what the h*ll do the people know? shadup and take your welfare check. (/s) )
It does show the democrats are dying as a party.

So the "ROYALTY" has special privileges that we subjects do not have afforded to us!
Time to point out their use of the "Special Privilege" and the vile words spoken in hate and anger. Turning their own vile hate back on them by pointing out their thoughts and words publicly at every opportunity in all of the campaigns right through to the closing of the poll's in Nov.
Foist them on their own petard so to speak.
