[history]
O'Reilley tried to link McCarthy with the House Un-American Activities Committee, and forcefully reminded him that he was called Senator for a reason. It was great.

The guy's playing with a missing deck. Dumb as a rock. Surprised he didn't bring up SUVs.
To: Cannoneer No. 4
So McCarthy had absolutely nothing to do with HUAC?

I loved hearing her point out that SENATOR McCarthy had nothing to do with HUAC! It was great.

O'Reilly's becoming quite a PC liberal, huh?
He seems to be liking the liberals more and more as he paddles away from those of us on the right.

Yeah...and while he sits their and condemns her vitriol, he refers to liberals like Franken as vile and dispicable. He totally confuses Ann's humor from vitriol. And O'Reilly is the last person who should talk about animosity and mean spiritidness.

Even if McCarthy had been involved with HUAC, how was it a bad thing blacklisting Dalton Trumbo, as O'Reilly suggested. Trumbo was a Communist. Nazis were blacklisted in the leadup to WWII -- conversely, what was wrong with blacklisting Communists during the Cold War.

I really don't like Bill very much.. He's becoming the Jerry Springer of Fox News.
I will give him this however, he takes the stories that no one else will touch. He's very balsy.
I just wish he were a Conservative as opposed to a wet noodle, populist.

I saw it! She was great...he had no reply to that comment about HUAC, when she pointed out that "They called him SENATOR McCarthy for a reason, Bill."
The "duh" look on his face was priceless. ;-D

Your question is a joke, right?
Nope. Do you think McCarthy had no influence whatsoever on HUAC?
