They had some wild stuff on the drawing board in 1945

The Sänger Amerika Bomber (or Orbital Bomber, Antipodal Bomber or Atmosphere Skipper Bomber)

I think that Fokker is a Messerschmitt.

There is some basis in fact. Circa 1977 I met an individual that had obtained a contract from one of the Island groups to pick up scrap from WWII. He had photographs that he had taken of WWII "Tojo's" all lined up with vines winding around their fuselage etc. Most interesting! Actually the Japs had no way of getting them off the islands and just left them.

They did have some prototypes already started. The assembly plant was overrun by allied troops. I've got pictures in some book on the Luftwaffe of the fuselage on the assembly line

That close from history being a lot different. Interesting. Also, I do see a slight resemblance between the plane who showed and a B-2 bomber.

What ticks me off is the very rare ( the only) Ju-388 like the type built at Schonefeld
is disassembled in storage at the Smithstonian, because they don't have "enough room".
They should at least loan it to a museum that has room so it can be displayed.

I'd love to see the Evergreen Museum in McMinnville get their hands on it.
