Peter's in tears as he becomes a US citizen.
ABC News anchorman Peter Jennings had a surprise for his lontime friend Clive Chajet at his annual Fourth of July Party: The Canadian-born Jennings announced to the 30 or so guests gathered at Chajet's annual event in Bridgehampton, NY, that he had become a US citizen. Jennings, 64, wanted his friends to hear the news directly from him.
"The gasp from the group at the party was just an 'Oh my God' kind of thing," Chajet, a corporate branding consultant and old friend fo Jennings, tells In Touch. "We hugged each other. Peter was crying, because he's so emotional about this subject. It obviously means a great deal to him." After working south of the Canadian border for four decades, Jennings decided it was time to make the switch, although he will retain his Candian citizenship. Jennings had pondered the switch for years, but after the events of 9/11, felt the time was right. "Canada is ingrained in my soul," he said. "But America is my home."

In Peters way of thinking, becoming a citizen is akin to having a sex change which is why he weeps. His liberalism is not 100% now. How can he stand suffering in a country that isn`t joined at the hip with France and dominated to the gills by liberal schmucks like himself? Oh thats right, when it comes to money it`s a different story. Oh the betrayal! How will Chretien ever forgive him! People will point at him when he visits Cananda! Oh the shame!

He can NEV(E)R run If he could, I would put Lettuce Roll up against Ahnold, and let the chips fall where they may. (I think the chips from Peter would fall quite some distance from his body!)

Umm. In the picture, is the nut beside the freak wearing a BACKpack in front?
To: bondjamesbond
Call me a skeptic, but to me it's just a ploy to quell the critics who don't like the fact that a Canadian is making high profile decisions at A(merican)BC News.
Has Peter not noticed that tears have done nothing for Dan?

Rats. I was hoping we could still deport him someday as an legal alien for treasonous activities. Well, we could just place him under house arrest in his NY office.
