I saw on another thread that Rush says that Condelezza Rice is resigning, maybe she's going to run.

You may or may not be surprised to hear this from a black conservative who likes to think of himself as a staunch moderate but I don't want her for the same reason that I don't want Davis...I saw her performance when questioned about the justification for the war and she passed the buck. I don't care who gets in office as long is it someone who is able to honestly say that the problems in California have been caused by both parties because they all took money from special interest groups to sell us out to the energy concerns...
We need someone who is going to do what is necessary to fix the problem instead of redefine it for political gain...
What Davis and all the other enlightened persons forget at times is that they work for us...It is their job to make our lives (not their own) better.
My favorite line from the movie "The American President".
"I have been trying so hard to keep my job that I forgot to do my job!!!"

Rush has really been off on a couple of things these days, and perhaps isn't paying attention. This story surfaced more than a MONTH ago, largely due to the notion that Rice was setting herself up to run as CA governor or senator (but this was before the recall). I think what Bedard was reporting was "leftovers" from this old story.
