He is critical of the war.

I don't think there's anything wrong per se with being critical of the war- it's more the manner in which some high profile people have been critical. It's when celebrities are using their little slice of lime light as a bully pulpit that grates on me. Lance Armstrong was/is against the war and even told the President so, but he doesn't cycle from one stage to the next using the Tour de France podium as a soap box.

Merle Haggard on FNC said Tony Blair is speaking out of both sides of his mouth, and he said if our "prez" (his word) wanted to go to Afghanistan (or Iraq?), to run an oil pipeline, he should have just said so.
