Eminem has reportedly hired a team of ex-CIA men as bodyguards to protect him from gangland assassination attempts.
The rapper is said to be shadowed by the heavily-armed former US Government agents everywhere he goes.
The singer also wears a bulletproof vest whenever he is out of his car or home, according to the Sun's Bizarre column.
The paper claims he is "terrified" after getting involved in a bitter war of words with rival Ja Rule.
The highly-trained heavies - who are costing Eminem a small fortune - carry handguns and do security sweeps of anywhere he is going.
Eminem and Ja have been exchanging vicious insults in their songs.
Ja has branded Eminem's mother a "crackhead" and Eminem has hit back by ridiculing Ja for being short.
The rap world is infamous for gangland shootings.
Eminem's ex-bodyguard Byron Young is quoted as saying his protection is now much more than a one-man job.
"When hardcore gangsters say they're gonna do something, they do it.
"And right now they're saying they want to kill Eminem.
"For the first time in his life the rap thing isn't just about money.
"It's about street life - and street life is murder."

Ja has branded Eminem's mother a "crackhead" and Eminem has hit back by ridiculing Ja for being short. Well, sounds like a legit reason on the street to kill someone....

The only way to deter assasinations, which are otherwise perceived as glamorous to the urban community, is to give the perpetrator the electric chair- and put it on TV.

Ah, the charming elevation of black ghetto-thug culture into the lamestream of everyday, suburban American life...
It's delightful. White boy from Detroit suburbs gets involved with the "thug" imagery and now he's "truly involved".
The country continues to circle the drain, and it's picking up speed.

No, it needs to be harsher than that.
I'm now trying to stuff my fascist alter-ego back down into it's hole so I don't say something that gets me in trouble with the Admin-Moderators.

Do you have no idea what this could engender or do you just not care?

Ja has branded Eminem's mother a "crackhead" Shouldn't have bothered him too much when Eminem has said essentially the same thing( shes not a crackhead but shes a pill popping druggie who had Munchasen syndrome).

His family background is very similar to many of those involved in the 'black ghetto thug culture'. Before there was Eminem, 'white boys from the suburbs' were misbehaving and didn't need rap to do so. This country was going down the tubes before rap. 'Lamestream' suburb culture breeds a different kind of thuggery than the ghetto. I live on Long Island and anyone who lives here knows what I speak about.

I thought Eminem was revealed to have actually grown up in a wealthy, suburb and his Dad was a car dealer?
Or was that Vanilla Ice? Or Kid Rock? They all blur together these days. All I know is that one of these supposed "white rappers" who claimed he grew up in the "hood" and was a "real downhome G" was actually revealed to be some rich white kid from the wealthy suburbs.
I thought that was Eminem, but I could be wrong - it might have been one of the others.
Watching spoiled little white brats from the cushy suburbs - the little trust fund babies - play at being "G's" and wearing the baggy pants that hang off their a@@ and talk like they just exited Advanced Ebonics class is a gut buster.
Noting funnier than seeing one of these moron white kids driving Daddy's BMW with the car vibrating from their "gangsta rap" and wearing a knit stocking cap in the middle of July when it's 104 degrees out.
They kill me, truly they do. I laugh like hell.

You're thinking Vanilla Ice; definitely not Eminem.

* I strongly suspect Vanilla Ice, or Kid Rock. Although I do not think Kid Rock is really gangsta rap or rap at all. I was the only one in my grade school class who liked Vanilla Ice BTW. Of course you need street cred that's why THEY ALL claim to be from the ghetto hood, or LBC. When in fact, a few of them grow up boring two parent families with no drugs, and babies mommas. Know what I mean?

*They have too much time on their hands. I grew up in the Eighties. I watched rap start up clean, nice, Curtis Blow and all of that, then go down hill and drag entire neighborhoods with it. Of course I see the same things you see. They see the same music videos that the black kids except they do not have to work three jobs at Wendys, deal drugs or go pimpin' to get the BLING BLING or the Benz. When was the last time you saw a GOOD rock video? They're all boring. It's a bunch of smelly, dirty white trash sining. Then you have Jay Z's videos... designer suits, hot looking chicks, etc.
Noting funnier than seeing one of these moron white kids driving Daddy's BMW with the car vibrating from their "gangsta rap"
* I usually roll up the window myself. Except when I am on my bike, I ignore them.

I am sure that Eminem appreciates this bit of info making headlines.. and thus insuring a headshot.
(Ballistic vests are like, something you DON'T want the people shooting you to know about.)

May they both go the way of "Tu(six)Pak Shakur!
A while back, I saw THE FUNNIEST cartoon titled: "What really happened to Tupak"
Tupak is crusing through town in this ultra cool limo and he stops at a light.. and another limo slides up beside him.. the window comes down and it's Mr. T.
Mr. T leans out of the window and accuses Tupak of eating his cheetos at a party. Tupak whines like a scared kid that he didn't do it and Mr. T says: "Look at yer fingers Tupak.. They're orange! They're orrrrange Tupak!"
Then Mr. T shoots him about a million times.

Wouldn't bother me in the least if they off each other, clean up the gene pool. I agree with the later post, the music industry has induldegd these "street thug" rappers and now their disrepectful lifestayle has bled into modern culture.

The growth of rap and hip hop culture has been fueled by the white liberal media elite and the general PC notion that any movement that comes out of the black subculture must be good and healthy for the entire country. The white liberal cannot criticize anything "black", because they rely on the blacks for their economic and political power, and because of their feelings of guilt over slavery, racism, and discrimination. So, the white liberal elite have elevated rap to an "art form", and they give the hip hop culture a pass on the violence, drugs, black-on-white racism, abuse of women, and so forth. The white liberals are quick to point out the few positive aspects of the hip hop culture, while totally ignoring the mass of negatives.
