"Were we surprised? He's a bodyguard. That's why we went in with our steely knives and oily guns," Col. Russell said.

Been laughing ever since I read this. Steely knives and oily guns! Col. Russell evidentally has a good sense of humor when asked stupid questions by some really ignorant press persons. One can only guess at the question. Maybe "Col Russell were you surprised when the longtime bodyguard of Saddam Hussein wasn't pleased to see you?"

"And in the master's chambers,
They gathered for the feast
The stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast"
