My eyes are wide open. I suggest you take your blinders off. Conservatives continue to stand with PresBush and his support from FReepers here on this conservative website is overwhelming. As I said, this entire deal involving Saddam's WMD programs is being driven by the Democrat's, their cohorts in the mainstream (liberal) media and those fringe rightwingers who hate PresBush.

There's no doubt, the intelligence that Clinton used back in the late 1990`s, to warn the American public and the world of Saddam's continuing WMD programs, is basically the same intelligence that PresBush has received and employed to make his decision to finally take out the Iraqi madman and defend American interests.
It may mean nothing to you but you are in for a big surprise if WMD are not located. You may find it perfectly ok that American lives were lost to free the Iraqi people. Personally, I think that the lives of American soldiers are worth much more than that. The military exists to protect America and American interests – freedom of the Iraqi people (or freedom of the Liberian people) is not enough to sacrifice American lives.
Its quite obvious you don't support PresBush and sound more like one of those anti-Bush liberals, or fringe rightwing extremists. So be it.
America is fighting a war on terrorism and PresBush made a decision that taking out Saddam Hussein would be part of that war on terroism. American interests were attacked on 9-11 and I'm damn well proud of the job that PresBush has done in prosecuting this war against the forces of international terrorism. I continue to support the President's efforts to fight this war on Arab soil, over there and not on the American homeland, over here! American's have been dying throughout our history to protect and defend the American people and our interests around the world. I suggest you wake up and get with the program, or move along to a website that can better appreciate your minority viewpoint.
Just because the major media outlets do not CRAM THIS DOWN YOUR THROAT everyday, doesn't mean it is not true. Are you aware of how many terrorist organizations there are in the Middle East, the names of them, and the size of their constituents? Are you aware of their inter-relations?
and Al-Queda was certainly not the major reason stated for this military effort.
I guess you forgot about Bin Laden. The media has. But, you are correct, it was not the STATED REASON for this coalition strike.
I listened (and believed) President Bush when he said that Saddam possessed WMD and that those weapons must be found and destroyed. This is a just and noble cause – the protection of American citizens.
So, what are you implying here? That this one statement is what you pin all your trust/belief/hopes on and if that PROOF can't be given to you RIGHT FRICKEN NOW, then the President must be a liar, just like the Democrats say? That what the MEDIA tells you the president stated is what he said? Do you even know what the original statement the President made, in regards to this issue is?
How soon people of the left forget 911. Not only that but little do they realize that had their buddy Clinton done something after the first WTC bombing, the bombing of our embassies, Cole, etc., ad nauseum, we might not be in the predicament we're in today.
To be fair, let's admit the truth. Your statement is the foundation of the whole DEMOCRATIC push to embarrass and remove President Bush from office.
They are saying if BUSH doesn't come up with PROOF of WMD's RIGHT NOW, he is a liar.
The LIAR part is the Democrats stating that BUSH stated THEY HAD EM.
The statement in question, does not contain those words.
If you read the statement the President made, you will see he did not state THEY HAD EM.
If you would rather allow statements taken out of context to be truth, and then base whether you follow the liars who take statements out of context, or the person being accused of lying by liars on that basis, then I can see why you made the statement you did.

No. Everybody knew that Iraq had them and that they were used in the past. They were hidden or destroyed or given to terrorists, in part, to embarrass Bush and Blair and maybe to not reveal any involvement by France, Germany and Russia, if any, IMO. As far as leadership is concerned, we know what Liberals do when they are in control and we must keep them out of power. It's an easy option for me, especially since the outcome was successful and because I think the long term benefits will pay off in many ways.
Reminds me of the sizeable clique of snooty State Dept. retirees who live in my Florida community. By rote, they tell one and all that they are "independents". It was rote they utilized for cover during their careers working for State.
However, when I sit in my little corner as a primary election day poll watcher, I see every one of them request a Democrat ballot and march into the Democrat booth, ho ho ho.
News commentators do this also if they even dare to vote at all in the primaries and reveal their true party affiliation. All these chicken shi'ites sure like to hide the fact they're Dem socialists.

Any person that believes that people like KENNEDY or HILLARY CLINTON care about them as human being, instead of as a PAWN to be used or killed at the whims of the Aristocracy, needs to wake up. We also must watch President Bush's actions. Just because we (I) trust him, or believe in what he has done so far, does not mean he is infallible. I can say his actions so far represent morality, responsibility, care and concern for US citizens. I can say EX-never should have been pRESIDENT Clinton's actions were those of EVIL.

If you had bothered to read my posts you would know that I don’t expect President Bush to produce the WMD right now – and if you bothered to listen to O’Reilly you would know that he also does not expect the same.
I am more than willing to give the president time to find AND DESTROY the Iraqi WMD. However, if he does not – if he, in effect, lied to the American people, he has little chance for my support. I don’t support politicians, of any persuasion, who lie about matters that affect the lives of our servicemen.
If you think Republicans will support him if WMD are not found, I think you are dreaming (and blindly foolish). Republicans are not that dumb. We are not like Democrats who blindly support any liberal.
I too am very proud of the way he has conducted himself and our foreign policy. I shudder to think what a state we would be in if Gore had won the election. However, I am not stupid. If it is shown, in the future, that Saddam did not have WMD – that he really did not pose a threat to the United States, then I am afraid that President Bush will have lost my respect and I see no chance for him to win a second term.
