If I recall correctly, Jack Horner is a rather controversial figure in paleontology. He's the main proponent of "birds as dinosaurs" theory. What this fellow seems to do, is sit in a corner and pluck wild ideas out of the air -- sometimes he has a plum idea, but he is mostly all thumbs.
