I'll give you that his eyes were starting to open, but I think 9/11 is what clinched it. Woods was a self-described liberal who hated clinton because he felt that clinton's dalliances and all-around disrespect of his office derailed the liberal agenda. It seems as though he has now morphed, a la Dennis Miller, to abandoning his delusional beliefs. I think his ride with the 9/11 terrorists, just a few weeks before their actual terror flight made him quite introspective, and realize that it could have been him on one of those planes, and that we can't pander to the islamofascists. That's my take anyway.
