EDISON, NJ -- Hundreds of workers filed out the Electrolux Home Products gates onto Route 27 under gray skies Thursday afternoon on their final day of work at the plant.

Ping on or off let me know.
I hear the unemployment numbers have dropped mostly because discouraged workers are no longer being counted as unemployed.

The ironic part is most of these of these people are immigrants. Came here to better themselves and their families.
Now they are out on the street and will never ever get as good a job. So what do they tell their children? Become lawyers so you can help rape the carcass of a once great nation? Lawyers will always have work? A nation that closes down it's manufacturing and outsources hi-tech is a loser nation. A nation that trasfers factories to China along with the manufacturing know how is a loser nation.

Most of those whoi encourage the current trade envirornment and cheer the offshoring of jobs are dedicated to the proposition that the US should lose in any conflict with the rest of the world.

Prediction - in the next couple of years we'll see many films & books about the effects of "globalization" on the working man. Ain't gonna be pretty.
