Of course, I'm against it. I thought my point was obvious but, maybe only to me. My point was that (similar to the permanent twisting of the meaning of words like 'gay', 'liberal', etc.) 'Hispanic' has lately become a 'race'; which it isn't. I read or hear someone saying this almost daily. I imagine it will soon become true; which it isn't.

It may have something to do with the fact that hispanics out number blacks, making it necessary for the black caucus and racists leaders to adopt another "race" to race bait for votes.

Race is distinctive. So far as I know, there are still 4 - Mongolian, Caucasian, American Indian, and Negroid. All have distinctive characteristics. With interRACIAL marriages, some of those are blurring/blending. Nationality is cultural/linguistic. Many see hispanics as brown skinned, speaking Spanish. But there are others who are white skinned. That is not race, that is nationality.
