Mr. Rich might wind up being very, very surprised.
There may not be many church-going folks where he lives and works, but out in Flyover Country many churches may end up making mass field trips to see the movie - repeatedly.
This isn't just any subtitled movie.
Its real tinderbox effect could be abroad, where anti-Semitism has metastasized since Sept. 11, and where Gibson is arguably more of an icon (as his production company is named) than he is at home."
I don't see why.
Muslims aren't likely to see this movie.
And that's where overseas anti-semitism has "metastasized."
a. Holocaust---perpetrated by the most successful SOCIALIST, left wing regime in history
b. France---where anti-semitism is rampant, pervasive and at all-time high levels
c. Muslimism---the darlings of the left hate Jews with a satanic, animal-like passion (and their religion COMMANDS them to kill Jews, sorta like our Bible commands us to, oh, not steal, or to not kill or lie...)
d. Hatred for Israel among U.S. liberals---Libs of the 60s hippie ilk, like Hillary for example, have been attempting to undermine Israel for decades. The left frankly loathes the very idea of Israel.
e. The black community in America---historically and traditionally violently anti-semetic, and immune from being CHARGED as such because they are black. Calypso Louis and Reverend Jackson can call jews "hymie" and other names with impunity from the media.
What do all of these have in common? They ARE the left, they are OF the left. The world has more to fear in the way of anti-Semitism from the left than from the Christian right, that's for sure. Rich is a typical, sterotypical self-hating Jew. What the left hates the most is what Christians and Jews have in COMMON. Just as the left MUST drive wedges between protestants and Catholics, so too must they drive wedges between Jews and Christians.
Jews and Christians have far more in common than Rich has in common good, conservative, Judeo-Christian Americans.
