Poll: Britons Trust BBC More Than They Trust Blair

LONDON -- A new poll for the Financial Times newspaper in London says more Britons trust the British Broadcasting Corp. than Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Observers say this suggests the media outlet is coming out on top in its heated political battle with the government over claims that Blair's office exaggerated the pre-war threat from Iraq.

The poll says 59 percent of those questioned say they trust the BBC, compared with 41 percent who say they trust Blair.

The suicide of British weapons adviser David Kelly has damaged Blair's popularity and credibility. The BBC identified Kelly after his death as the main source for a report that the government inflated the threat from Iraq to justify war.

Politicians should never be trusted, on the otherhand it is the business of newspapers to be trusted, and 59% ain't all that good.

Maybe that's their problem.

"Britons trust the British Broadcasting Corp. than Prime Minister Tony Blair"

Remember, these are the people who fought wars by marching in a straight line and wearing red.

The suicide of British weapons adviser David Kelly has damaged Blair's popularity and credibility. The BBC identified Kelly after his death as the main source for a report that the government inflated the threat from Iraq to justify war.

From here, it seems pretty obvious that Andrew Gilligan made up the story about the inflated threat.  That's what Kelly said anyway.  Although I don't have the BBC hyperventilating about how Blair is somehow responsible for Kelly's suicide.

The problem is that the bastards who run the country are the samme bastards who are driving into a Soviet- Style state, that being from an ex-Labour Spinner, who has written in the right-wing Daily Mail, today (Monday). WEW have got an agenda, and that is the destruction of the Blair Regime and its Socialist bullshit which they have forced upon us over the past six years and the death of the BBC. Both parties are left in their perspective, in the case of the BBC, they are more friendly to Uncle Joe, than they are to anyone else. As Lord Black said in the Daily Telegraph last saturday, the BBC is a anti-English organisation and is therefore racist in its Communist beliefs. Blair on the other hand is doing something even worse. He is surrendering the United Kingdom, to the Soviet-cum-fascist superstate that is the European Union.

I don't expect it that it is being reported over there, but last Monday, Tony Martin, who shot a burglar was released from prison. He was originally jailed for murder, but after millions petitioned various papers, was reduced to manslaughter. The man who survived the shooting, was released from prison just days before Martin, after doing barely five months of an 18 month sentence, for Heroin-dealing. Martin was forced into doing the maximum 2/3rd sentence because he would not say that he was sorry. Tony Martin was seen as a political prisoner by many in this country because he had got the people against the bastards who ran the country. Blair could have turned round and said this was a disgrace. HE DIDN'T.

Sorry, to disappoint you, but Blair is gonna go. One way or another. Whether it is through the ballot box, or through the simple fact that he was implicated in The Kelly affair. He is finished. Just like you have got domestic problems, so do we.

"I am Arthur, King of the Britons."

" 'o are the Britons?"

"We all are. We are all Britons. And I am your King!"

"I didn't vote for you."

Further proof that the modus operandi of the media is to ideologically manipulate the sheeple.

However in Britain's case, they are the sponsors of their own undoing.

This is the nascent Mainstream Media Shenanigans ping list. Please freepmail me to be added or dropped.
Please note this will likely become a high-volume list.
Also feel free to ping me if you come across a thread you would think worthy of the ping list. I can't catch them all!

They misinterpreted the data. It should read: Most britons agree with the BBC agenda more than the PM's agenda.

Well, I'm sure if Blair had his own television station with newsanchors who were heavily biased in his favour, popular television shows and paid pundits to argue in favour of his agenda morning, noon and night- he would be just as trusted as the BBC.

The BBC is in charge of the sheeple mind control device- of course the public trusts them.

Hmmm, Brit Hume quoted results from another Brit poll last night that showed just the opposite.

This article conveniently forgets to mention that the same number was around 90 percent before the war.
