GAVEL SET TO FALL ON 'BRIBE' JUDGE (Dummycrat judge buying/selling corruption)

A grand jury is expected today to indict embattled Brooklyn Supreme Court Judge Gerald Garson for taking bribes after examining $10,000 in credit card bills that a lawyer claims he spent on the jurist in exchange for preferential treatment, The Post has learned.

........ Garson soon began to wear a wire when he was confronted with evidence gathered against him. He suggested that judgeships were bought in Brooklyn and that BU> Democratic Party boss Clarence Norman was at the center of the schemes........

The good news of the day is that Gerald Garson has been indicted for taking bribes. A crooked judge in the Brooklyn Supreme Court -- Garson is a product of the corrupt Dumbocrat party judge buying and selling scam that grossly undermined the US system of justice.

Feds used as evidence $10,000 in credit card bills that one of the corrupt lawyers used to pay off Garson by wining and dining the crooked judge for favorable decisions.

Garson has implicated Assemblyman Clarence Thoams, a big honcho in the Dumbocrat party, in judicial corruption schemes.

I view this venal corruption as the inevitable result of the intellectual, proceedural and constitutional corruption which the left has insinuated into our legal system.

The left has wrenched our polity away fom the constitution, pettifogging its plain meaning. It has used judges to accomplish this.

It has undermined democracy by converting political issues like abortion or sodomy into legal/constitutional questions. It has used judges to accomplish this.

It has made a mindless parlour game of gotcha out of the criminal justice system, substituting a gauntlet of obstacles which the prosecution must negotiate in place of the quest for truth. It has used judges to accomplish this.

It has established favored groups and disestablished other less favored Americans not only as they interact with their government but privately, as in matters of free association or job quotas. They have used judges to accomplish this.

The left has corrupted the process of selecting judges. First, by character assination as against Bork and then Thomas. Now, by filibustering their way to a super majority. It is not original to observe that this was the predictable result of politizing the judicial system.

The left has has attempted to to control elections through judicial fiat as in the Florida Supreme Court with its palpable bias in the election matter. Or in California where the courts overturned a sucessful referendem on policy grounds. Or in Arizona where a court usurped the budget making powers. Likewise in Pa. They used judges to accomplish all of this.

And it was equally predictable that quite soon the judges themselves would start jiggering their own system. The left has made the stakes too high to leave the answers to the rules of proceedure. So we see the assignment judge playing games in the Clinton affair. We see the crcuit court jobbing the system in the affirmative action cases. This happens precisely because the left made them judges to get their agenda into the books, not to concern themselves with so abstract a notion as "justice." So leftist judges beome corrupt in the administration of their own courts.

Now we see venal corruption. This was also to be foreseen. Why should greed stand as the lone taboo in a sea of sin and political opportunism. Just where should the whore say, "no, that far I will not go."

Here's another take on how the left has corrupted and degraded our judicial system and our culture.

“Tolerance and compassion” is the left's signature scam. Here’s how it works: They establish their bona fides by beating their breasts about how great they are, b/c they are T&C. This then frees them up to work any number of swindles. The conniving Clintons are the prototypes for this gambit.

Of course the left hates conservatives b/c conservatives are normal, productive people......the heart and soul of America.......an America the left despises.

Despite the constant bleating about their so-called "tolerance and compassion," for every living thing (except conservatives and the unborn), lefty liberals have an unmitigated and utter contempt for humanity.

Self-loathing libs just can't feel good about themselves unless they are in the throes of "victimization" and either 1) causing victims, 2) concocting victims, 3) playing victim, 4) commiserating over victims, or 5) creating another class of victims to bleed over.

Conservatives will not lie down and become victims, ergo, the left goes ballistic. Should we really care if they hate us? Only if they interfere with the administration of our government and if they infringe on our rights. And speaking of infringing our rights, meet the ACLU...........the paradigm conservative (and Christian) hater.

I would bet you dollars to donuts Garson, Clarence Norman, their Dummycrat ilk, and all of the lowlifes in the Brooklyn court system are ardent proponents of so-called tolerance and compassion. And they've calculatedly used it to pull of scam after scam to line their pockets.

You made an insightful point here. Liberals are indeed self - loathing but how can that be? Are they not insufferably arrogant? I do not mean that they are impolite necessarily, I mean they arrogate perogatives and power unto themselves, heedless of the legitimate rights or needs of others. It would seem that someone suffering from terminal self-loathing would be more inclined to jump overboard rather than ceaaselessly trying to seize the tiller of the ship os state. How can both conditions be true at the same time?

It is because the modern liberal suffers not from a wrongheaded philosophy, it is that he suffers from a soul sickness. Ann Coulter has said it, although it is not original with her, liberals would be gods. They presume to play god and, of course, play the role of God. Hence the arrogance.

But why the self-loathing? Because the act of rebellion against their creator, a just and loving God, places them at odds with him and leaves them vulnerable to every perversity, every and any draft which blows them into a life of lies. In rebellion against that which is good, they inevitably align themselves with that is not good - evil. Self-loathing is the unavoidable symptom of this condition.
