Somewhere in all the sites I visited to get additional information, I read that DFW International Airport alone is LARGER that Manhatten (I think it was) - but didn't include it because I couldn't remember exactly! (I went back to try to find it again when I did the part about Texas is SOOOOOOOO Big, and couldn't for the life of me find that statement.
There certainly are a lot of different landscapes and cultures in Texas. Still, the Hill Country takes first place with me - that's where we'll be the weekend of the 15th) :)
