The bluebonnets are gorgeous, but this time of the year you find sunflowers all over the Texas countryside

Thank you, Colleen. I didn't expect to see you today, so this is a pleasant surprise. Pretty field of bluebonnets. :) I learned that there is a new 'maroon' bluebonnet out now. It's blended in that very first photo in the opening, with the Capitol, but I didn't save the photo that shows the colors better.
