LOL! The real lefties want to trash all the Bush tax cuts and add about 100,000 poor people back onto the tax rolls.

What a joke!

Wow! A recession hitting those without jobs harder than those with jobs. I don't think I can stand to live in a crazy mixed up world like this where black is white, up is down, and tax cuts benefit those who pay taxes.

Actually, I think the gap between the haves and have nots grew more during the Clinton years than any other 8 year period in recent history.

Under President Bush, the rich do OK and the poor suffer

As opposed to under President Clinton, when the rich did REALLY WELL, while the poor and middle class lost their retirement accounts!

For Americans with no jobs or low income, the Bush economy so far has been dismal. They have little to gain from the tax cuts that the president pushed through Congress, at least in the short run, and they don't have the wherewithal to take advantage of low-interest loans or the rise of stocks.

People who pay little to no income taxes don't get a tax cut. Amazing how that works. You can't give back what isn't given.

I'm still waiting for the rich, liberal democrats to give their "unwanted" tax cuts back to the government. Until they do, they need to shut up.

What else would you expect from the liberal rag of Broward County. The county directly south of Palm Beach County.

There is a reason why "south Floridumb voters" became popular vernacular across the US in November 2000.

When will one of these common taters realize that the Pres' tax cut is not supposed to spur demand but to spur investment in the economy?
Consumers have held up their end...that is why a "tax cut for the rich" is the only one which has a prayer of success.

Considering how poorly the "poor" have done in my lifetime, under all Presidents - according to liberals - eliminating poorism will never happen. It's like defining infinity - we can describe what it is not but we cannot describe what it is.

Funny how when Clinton was president the poor didn't even exist to the leftist media propagandists.

Now that a Republican is in office the poor and the homeless are all Bushs' fault.

How much of this lying crap do they think the people of America are going to put up with before we've had enough?

Yeah, according to Hillary, people can't afford such luxury items as books. However, they did decide to let little Timmy's kidney transplant go, in order to buy Living History. It was just that important! /sarcasm
