Its amazing how few people realize the inherant power of the US Supreme Court. If they did, they would vote Republican just to hope the President appointed more judges to offset the dangerous liberal/socialist bent that exists currently. The ACLU used to be a despised organization, thanks to trial lawyers their coffers are overflowing. Anyone who wonders why our nation and its once proud ideals are now suffering need only look at what occurred under the Marshall Court and the far reaching effects of its decisions. The very fact that Ruth Ginsberg can speak out with bold audacity of trampling the principles of our Constitution is scary enough. Our country has been attacked from within long before 9/11...sad

When Ginsburg got on the court, you could almost bet that something like this would happen.

What the lefties never ever understand is that the street runs both ways.

Suppose one of the conservative justices quoted German law from oh, say the middle 1930's regarding the rights of Jews?

The Constitution is the keystone of our Republic. Tamper with it and the whole thing could fall.

Regards,

They will, of course, chose as from a chinese menu as it suits their agenda. The genius of this approach is that now Ruthie doesn't have to undergo all that tedious tweaking and shucking of our constitution to get to pre dedermined result, she merely has to find the right liberal foreign jurisdiction to justify her decisions.

They have stolen our republic. It is time for a new revolution. I doubt if we can stuip them without violence. They respond to nothing wlse. We can no longer depend on our constitution, they have defiled it, and our fellow shallow citizens can no longer think clearly enough to see it.

they turn you from the path.

Surely a peron as ugly inside and out as is Ginsberg, as rotten -- and as un-and-anti-American -- is Evil incarnate?

Hell will be too pleasant a destination for she and her treacherous ilk!

Them thar's fighting words and yours is a fighting spirit -- and I salute you for both spirit and words.

After all, our Beloved FRaternal Republic's Founding Fathers went to war to deny England's mad king George less draconian powers, post Magna Charter, than those with which the self-perpetuating once-supreme court has self-annointed itself.

So much for the US Constitution...

Who needs a legislator either... When you can make law from the bench...

Voting Republican is not the answer. GHWB and GW are both NWO proponents, along with about 80% of our so-called elected officials. When are you people going to wake up and smell the burning US Constitution. Republicans/Democrats. ...They're all from the same cloth, and that cloth is the obliteration of the US and her sovereignty.

The Supreme Court is looking beyond America's borders for guidance in handling cases on issues like the death penalty and gay rights, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (news - web sites) said Saturday.

You would think an United States Supreme Court Justice would know about the Constitution!!!

This is serious! Leftist SC justices now do not protect and defend our Constitution from foreign intpretation or corruption. They took a oath to do so. This is close to treason. Perhaps treason in slow motion.

Are they protecting "the Constitution form enemies foreign and domestic"? Are the domestic enemies of the Constitution?

Elected officals should hear about this.

When I heard this on Rush, I was stunned.

I'm no "impeach 'em" person. My first option is not to try to mount some movement to remove people from office. But this clearly is an impeachable, and serious, crime against the Constitution. Any Republican with any cajones should start proceedings immediately despite what the "backlash" would be.

SCOTUS is totally corrupted. Time to impeach everybody but Scalia and Thomas! (Rehnquist deserves it just for letting all this crap happen).

We actually were successful at impeaching Clinton - the movement got feet and impeachment proceedings happened. March for Justice - Freepers rocked, CNN filmed.

So, tell me, could we do the same thing and get a movement to impeach judges?

The worst thing in my opinion, is that the last big American rope manufacturer just went out of business.

Should have hung on a while longer. Looks like business could be picking up soon.

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation

Beginning to smell like 1776.

Regarding your post #31 comment, I totally agree. If a judge is unwilling to uphold his or her commitment to the United States Constitution and that only, he or she should be impeached and removed from office.

The problem is that we do lack Congressmen with the nerve to do what they should do. So, it won't happen.

The Supreme Court is the defender, you're not going to change the two party system in the lifetime of anyone living today so if a President says he will appoint strict constitutionists to the Court then thats where your hope goes.
