The "bishop" from Utah is a woman who left the Mormon church over issues like abortion. She is undoubtedly completely leftist in her leanings, and very unrepresentative of the majority of people in this state.

in a state with five seats in congress isn't one a democrat? I would be very nervous about all the folks from Calif who left to go skiing and never returned. In five more years conservatives may not be any more powerful in elections than they are in the election of the Bishop for Utah. Someone voted for her and I am well aware of her background.
