Excellent article except for one inaccuracy:
"There can be no argument that the feelings held by conservatives for Clinton were, and are, not exactly warm, but they could scarcely be called "hate"...."
I, for one loathe, despise, hate I-x42 more than I have ever hated anyone in my entire life.

Bush-Basher Location? See prior posting whereby a millionaire George Soros is donating $10 million to America Coming Together to defeat Bush.

Great article!
My aunt (from Texas) absolutely HATES Bush. He is responsible for everything from bad SUV gas mileage to both Shuttle disasters. Ill bet if I pushed her, he even had something to do with the Apollo 13 explosion! Anyway, she is very hardcore Pentecostal. Claims to believe that Gods word is the final authority. We got into a discussion around election time well, actually she was ranting, but anyway I just sat and listened for nearly an hour. I then asked her one question. How could she vote for a guy who TWICE vetoed a bill that would make it illegal to pull a baby halfway out of his mother, poke a hole in the back of his head, such his brain out, then sell the babies body parts. She denied that Clinton would do that. I broke out my letter where I had wasted my time to write that idiot about that issue. In his response he (Clinton) said that he had prayed about it and that that is what god told him to do. (lower case deliberate the Creator God considers babies precious. She was dumbfounded. Two and a half years later and she still wont speak to me.

The Bush Bashers are all over the Left and on the Far Right. Same for the Bush Haters. It's the same coalition that enabled, elected, and empowered the Clintons.

One of the best summaries, that I've seen, of the 2 presidents' backgrounds and performance. Thanks for the post!

I love the news reports which list the protestors as "Hillary haters".

It's a shame that the discussion of this thread does not come close to the quality of the article itself. While I have a few quibbles, it's an excellent read and probably the best "compare and contrast" article of our two most recent presidents I've ever read.
