What is more surprising is that not even talk radio is picking up this story. Not Rush, not Sean, not O'Reilly.
That is disappointing.

The world just moves slower than your idealism. Have patience. This story just got released to the press today.

Say it ain't so. A US Senator? Crooked? Using his weight to stop a citizen from sounding off - unbelievable.
Members of Congress have the same vaulted character that used car salesmen have (maybe less). What we need is another tea party down by the bay.

With all due respect, Baucus released the letter to the AP on Wednesday, they did an article. It didn't register a blip with ANYONE. If it was Jesse Jackson or the NEA, Katie would have been spouting it at 7 AM yesterday.
Unfortunately, it is left to Freepers to make something out of it - before FreeRepublic.com gets shut down of sued.
Look at what one idiot is doing to ProBush.com

As long as we're listing organizations that should have their tax exampt status investigated.....
I vote for tompaine.com

So nobody is allowed to hold politians accountable for their vote?
Did I just step through Bizarro World?
To: Jeff Gannon
Wow. That's one lawsuit that isn't going anywhere.
But then again, I'm surprised that Abourezk was willing to even take it to court. It probably wouldn't be too hard to prove beyond any doubt that he is a traitor. ;-)

So nobody is allowed to hold politians accountable for their vote? I guess you never heard of 'CFR', eh? ;-)
To: Jeff Gannon
In May, former Sen. James Abourezk (D-SD) filed a $5 million lawsuit against a website operator who included him among a group of "traitors." The website, www.ProBush.com, lampoons liberals from the entertainment industry and politics who have been vocal in their opposition to the war in Iraq or critical of President George W. Bush. But....but....Hillary screamed at the top of her lungs about people having the right to question their leaders!!
Hillary OK'd this mans right to question, did she not?

We don't talk enough about the fact that the Clintons used the IRS as their own personal tool to go after their enemies.
During their tenure, virtually every conservative organization in the country was subjected to an anal probe.

**I'm assuming he mentioned the NAACP and Rainbow/PUSH in this letter, aren't you? I'm sure the author just left it out.**
Also the ACLU!

**I'm sure there are a plethora of left leaning tax-exempt orgs that dedicate plenty of their energies to left wing political activities (NEA, for example).**
Bingo! on the NEA point!

Hey, you are the WH correspondent for Talon, aren't you?
Are you credentialed and everything?
I have to commend you guys on actually reporting objectively.
I like Newsmax as much as anybody else, but they have to slant every story they right, which is not good for conservative credibility. You guys at Talon news are actually doing real journalism. Thank you.
I am sending you a Freepmail as well.

Good grief, what an error.
