Actually, as I recall, "Gary Seven" was a superman, bred for generations somewhere Out There by some benevolent-but-secretive aliens, and placed on Earth to make sure we made it through our "planetary crises". Terri Garr was his secretary, sort of an early Loni Andersen in WKRP-type role. . .looks dumb, isn't. . .
