Yes, even my Republican relatives out there lean to the left. They can't help it because the California newspapers and airwaves are all so far left that it tilts the whole state.

The hardest thing I ever did was to be trapped in California Thanksgiving week 2000 (during the Florida recount fiasco). Especially since my hotel did not carry Fox News. It was impossible to get unslanted news.

And Republicans, for the most part, are so downtrodden that they make jokes about their own candidates. It's pathetic.
