Bush is the first president to be so honored, "and maybe the last," said the company's spokeswoman, Lauri Aibel, who notes that some complaints have already been received. "We don't condone or endorse the president, but he fit the criteria of our Elite Force collection. . . . It would have to be somebody in uniform, a military hero of some kind, or depicting a military uniform." So we're so far to the left in the mainstream today that a toy company spokesperson cannot "condone" the President of the United States? So I concede not "endorsing" him, but implying that you can't "condone" him is to suggest that he is doing something terrible that needs to be stopped.
Who is this snit?
Are we really this far adrift that a piss ant spokesperson at a TOY COMPANY feels the need to malign the office of the Presidency with such a statement? Disgusting.
What's needed is MANY replies to the toy company PRAISING their decision to make the toy ...
Preferably all addressed to this "spokesperson" who would "prefer not to condone" our president.....
