I hope we don't underestimate the power of what I see happening at each 'book signing'. Hillary is campaigning for President. She is having the people who will vote her in do the campaigning for her.

In retrospect,it will be seen that the protestors were integral to getting her elected. WE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HELPING HER WIN !

DOESN'T THAT SUCK!

I keep seeing the white underbelly of the nation. The middle age, had kids, divorced and left on their own by a husband that went after a younger woman (just like bill did to hellary), woman that thinks it's about damn time we had a female for President. The woman behind the man, the real power, that was left behind once the man acheived his fame.

The power of this group should not be ignored. They are there and are turning out and it is getting larger and larger each time. They all have the same mantra playing in their heads. "Hillary will be a wonderful first woman President".

Just ask them, or watch the next news broadcast of Hill's book signing. They will eventually demand that Hillary run for President, and she will stall until the last moment (build up the excitement, the curiousity) and then accept. PLAN "A" is working as scheduled.

The reason I say we are helping, is that the protestors just agitate this unplanned for, unaccounted for, ignored group. Make them even more sure they are doing the right thing, putting Hillary in office as President. Our Freeper in the devil outfit gives them the idealistic picture of all manhood as the devil, and Hillary as the WHITE SAINT who will ride in and save middle age women from the ravages of time and loneliness, from the trauma of lost loves and loneliness. You see, that voting group, Divorced or unhappily married women whose husbands dumped them for a younger woman, is what Hillary is appealling to with her book and interviews. That group is one of the largest voting blocs in the US.

But, none of this will be realized until it really happens. By then it will be too late.

Anyone who thinks Hillary can't win the presidency should look to Janet Napalitano, who ran on the platform of raising taxes for education, as govenor of Arizona. It was the women eho showed up and voted her/him/whatever it is into office.

Very astute observation.

Perhaps it is ordained. The country is so sick maybe the only answer is for it to collapse.

Hillary will open the gates of Hell.

From what I saw is that she appeals to women with no fashion sense whatsoever.

"She is fabulous. She will be a wonderful first woman president! (Now where is the closest Krispy Kreme?)"

That DOES suck! Okay, how do we fix it?

I must be abnormal, because I almost fit into that demographic, yet feel nothing but contempt for her.

You make a very good point. How do we make this large group feel for Hillary the way we do? How do we make our FReeps work for us and against Hillary?

They are already sure that they are doing the right thing.
There needs to be more Hillary FReeps, not less. It's the only way to show that not everyone agrees with her. Otherwise all you get are the, "I loooove Hillary. She'll just be the greatest president since George Washington!" comments.

If that's all you hear and never hear about anyone not liking her then a lot of the easily swayed swing vote is going to go her way.

I agree completely with the quoted paragraph. You present a very astute analysis of Hillary's demographic appeal. You also wisely advise against underestimating the power of the Hillary fans and correctly note that this is an unstated presidential campaign (either for '04 or '08).

UCANSEE2, I respectfully disagree with your other main point.

Protestors are NOT helping Hillary bond her followers to her. They drank the Clinton Kool-Aide long before FReepers protested Hillary. They are like cult members. Other than deprogramming, they are beyond help.

All of the Hillary worshippers at these events voluntarily wait an hour or more for 4 to 7 seconds to kneel before their Queen. Nothing FReepers do is going to free them from their bonds, but nothing FReepers do is going to strengthen Hillary's hold on them.

We get out an opposing point of view as we've done at the FReeps. That way, Hillary is not coronated Queen by acclaimation. It reduces any bandwagon effect. No one in the middle goes with Hillary based on the belief that "she will win anyway and I want to go with a winner." (A significant number of people think that way, but probably won't admit that, even to themselves.)

I guess it's time for you to make the ultimate sacrifice for your country and "Schtup" everyone of them so they vote Republican.

Hey my man!

you give that crowd way too much credit. Their husbands may have left them for younger women. But by asking yourself the question why, you will uncover the neurosis that is today's modern woman( at least the ones that HLL describes in her account. )

These women are filled with self doubt and hatred, so much so, that they will never elect one of their own. Deep down they believe they are responsible for their sorry and lonely state.

But we at FR know who is ultimately responsible!
