This is a common knowledge

Common to whom? Are you someone with access to classified documents regarding the case that the rest of us are not? I think perhaps not.

You may believe that Pollard is innocent, but those of us in the intelligence community know what he did, and what he did was pass classified, U.S. national defense information that he was sworn to protect to a foreign government without proper authorization. This is a treasonous act. Period. It has no bearing that the foreign nation in question is our "ally". There is a saying in my line of work: "We have no friends and no enemies, only interests."

Pollard is a traitor. Traitors should be executed. He's lucky he is only in prison for the rest of his life.

"Common to whom?"

Common to people with the Internet access. Apparently "you in the intelligence community" choose to ignore the facts that do not fit your worldview. Do you really prefer atomic bombs in terrorist hands to Pollard's "treason"? Are you really that stupid or just malevolent?
