Hillary probably would blame Bush for the missing Rose Law firm billing files. She is the Queen of Sh*t Heads.

Where exactly was Hillary while her millions of NY constituants suffered through the Bush- induced backout ? Most probably in an air conditioned house, hotel room , private plane, very far from her beloved public.
Is she rushing home to minister to the over-heated and unwashed New Yorkers who voted for her ? Doubt it !

I searched FR before making my post but I did not find this thread until now. I was searching for Hillary

Ok Now I know why my thread was pulled but I think there were some interestin comments on it

Glen Beck opened his show saying that Hillary Clinton was on MS-NBC blaming Bush for the Black Out 2003
I wanted to know what wat the mechanism Hillary is claiming GW BUSH Policies ---> ???? ---> Black Out 2003

Hillary Spins Phony Black Out Con Job----> Stupid Dolts Believe it => Stupid Dolts Vote Hill for Pres. Posted by prairiebreeze to cq On 08/15/2003 6:50 AM PDT FOX has been pretty good about reporting that Pres Bush has wanted to upgrade the grid for 2 years. Prairie

Posted by Mo1 to cq Hmm, wasn't this this kind of stuff being predicted for Y2K?? The power grid should have already been modernized before Y2K so that this could not happen. If memory Serves me right - BILL CLINTON was president at that time!

Good point .. I had forgotten about that

Not just Indian Point, either. I heard about some cable this morning that goes between NYS and CT. The cable hasn't been powered up because the CT AG has beenhaving a cow. NYS officials had to go to the Feds yesterday to get the cable powered up. What's the deal with that?

Richardson is the Democrat's version of McCain -- always out in front of the cameras on any issue -- North Korea, Energy, the UN, etc. Just like McCain is perceived (incorrectly) by many Democrats and independents as a Republican "voice of reason", Richardson's statements (less taxes, economic development) sometimes make sense to us Pubbies. However, if you look behind the curtain, you may see a different persona. My own opinion is that he's a moderate, centrist Democratic of the ilk that Bubba Clinton professed to be. However, he still is a Democrat and like all Democrats, he likes to consolidate power around him. In NM he has replaced all members of all boards, commissions and regents with his own appointees (irrespective of previous tenure or professional competence) and expects them to take his direction. In other words, watch out for the future -- he has ambitions for 2008 (but is too smart to get to close to Hillary).

Don't lots of folks who post here live in NY?

Why are the citizens of NY not up in arms about this and ASKING their senators why they did not pursue our grid system for electrical delivery IMMEDIATELY after 9/11?

IMHO, the senators and congress people from NY are the PRIMARY parties responsible for PROTECTING THEIR CONSTITUENTS!!!

The President has, previous to the blackout, on record, expressed concern about our grid system.

Why did the Senators not JUMP ON THIS?

We know the clintons are EXPERTS at blaming and EXPERTS at refusing accountability.

Why wasn't hillary saying this was a massive oversight on her part (and chuckies, etc) and stating she was going to do something immediately about it-FORGOING her money grubbing book tour and returning to NY to get plans for a modernized and PROTECTED grid system in the works, ASAP?????

Oh, wait a minute, I forget myself. This horror of a human being actually TOLD several familiess of 9/11 victems that she would NOT meet with them unless............. the press corp committed to being there!!!!.

What a heartless, arrogant, powermad bitch, er, horror.

They have continued to try to push deregulation and privatization,

If everyone was on thier own private power, there would not be such a massive black out. If a company loses power and does not have a back up generator - it's their fault for not having a back up plan.

Well, we all knew the Bush bashing was coming, but you'd think of all people Hillary would know better and keep her trap shut. Someone please ask her 1) to name a NY senator, 2) to name who was against Bush's plan, and 3) who was in the WH for 8 years? What a fool.

Excuse me but this is what we are here for - to see what the sneaky rats are up to so that when we hear this BS from libs we are aware of it already and give this stuff back to them so they can realize that they have been had AGAIN!

My earlier tag line:

The Dems look for a shadow on the brightest day, call it the dark of night and blame George W. Bush

Maybe I should go back to it.

Hilary is the senator from New York; if anybody is to blame and be held accountable for New York's problems it's New York's government officials. She would take the credit for a success, will she take the blame for a failure? Not a chance. Oh, and if you look at her record on energy, I'm sure you'll find she voted against everything, like drilling in the Arctic.

Deregulation Policy caused this?

All this power grid stuff really got its start in the 90s when power brokers were gobbling up local power plants across the country. FirstEnergy's parent company is Canadian based, and they own power companies on a global scale. Why this is not, nor has it ever been a the national security issue is beyond comprehension. No one seems to know where the power outage began.

trying to close the Indian Point nuclear plant

In all honesty, my wife (in the days before I met her) temped at Indian River while going to grad school and saw first-hand what a shoddy operation it was. They really needed to clean up their act or there was a good chance of a major disaster. Now, this was 7 or 8 years ago, so I have no idea if they have improved or not...
