This was written by the same guy who wrote the article I posted down the board.
I am especially intrigued that Gertz uncovered Iranian ties to al Qaeda long ago. The press is saying nothing about that. I wonder why.

The Congressional report does not take anyone to task for a CIA director who was so clueless about security that he would e-mail top secret files to himself from his CIA office to his AOL account and then leave them unsecured on his Mac in his home office!According to the PC users and AOL bashers on this forum, this is not a security breach.
Only 3% of the population would have known how to use the Mac, and they would have died of old age waiting to get through to AOL.

Ah, but the Democrats would NEVR have been happy unless they spent millions in taxpayer money to pay for an "investigation" of the failures leading up to 9/11...because they needed a media platform with with to relativize the Bush administration with the Clinton administration. It was half revenge, half power play, but it didn't work.
Most of US'LL read Gertz's book. The mainstream media will ignore it.

"Bill Clinton and George W. Bush escape blame."
George W. Bush?? He'd been in office for 8 months, had rammed a tax cut down the throats of the Democrat majority and faced off with China. A surprising portion of the country don't know how close to war we came then. He STILL took the possiblity of a threat seriously, and had a plan for getting rid of al Qaeda on his desk by September 10th...he IS BLAMELESS.
Perhaps the author meant to refer to his father?

Checked local libraries; they don't have the 9/11 book but do have his "Betrayal". Is "Betrayal" good?
