Boy, 7, suspect of raping girl, 4

The mother of a 4-year-old girl discovered that her daughter's genitalia were red and swollen. The girl had been raped, but the suspect will not be punished, as he is only 7 years old.
The girl's mother thought her daughter had been raped by an adult and contacted the police in Skåne, Sweden. A doctor who confirmed that someone had put his or her fingers inside the girl's genitalia checked the girl. The police registered the case as a rape.
It turned out that the girl's 7-year-old neighbour is responsible for the assault. The families are friends and their children spend a lot of time together.
Played games
On a couple of occasions the children had been playing sex games that had gone too far. The boy has shown no other signs of abnormal behaviour.
"This is a terrible case for the small community in this town and that is why we do not want to go public with this", said Swedish police.
Common
According to experts the games the children were playing are quite common amongst children.
"The girl might not have experienced the game as wrong in any way. Some times the adults' horrified reaction may be worse to the children than the assault in itself", said a Swedish Professor of child psychiatry.
Doctor Gunilla Thernlund shares this opinion:
"Children can be impulsive and not realise tat the other person is not in on what is happening. The core point is whether the older boy used violence against the girl. If she has marks, it is not a normal sex game. Maybe the boy struggles with issues and takes his frustration out on the girl. In that case he needs help and is important to catch this early", she said.

What in God's name is a "normal" sex game for kids under 7??? Is this out of Brave New World or what?

"Normal" sex games are "You show me yours and I'll show you mine." Playing doctor is what our parents called it and discouraged it.

How the h*ll were these children left alone long enough to have any feeling going on? Sorry, I would not let my 4 year old girl play with a 7 year old boy. Sex aside, he is stronger and more aggressive than this little girl. The parents are nuts.

Free-wheeling sexual scandinavian countries reap what they sow. Just like the neighbor who witnessed a 10 year old from Sweden(?) doing something nasty to his 5 year old sister in their back yard some years back.

The boy sees something pornographic on tv. He learns what 'big kids' use an erection for. He notices that he occasionally gets when if he really has to pee. He takes advantage of this situation to get frisky with this 4 yr old girl.

Which leaves us with the fact that he never would have been pressured into trying such a sick and revolting stunt if he didn't live in a society that made him feel like he had to 'stick it to her' in order to be a functioning human male.

It sort of makes the utterly tasteless mass media and his utterly worthless pair of parents an acessory to rape. But filing those charges would constitute 'judgemental' behaivior. And we wouldn't want to be 'judgemental'. Besides, with free health care, the bratty, little 4 year old will get carted off to the headshrinker.

It's so clean, so conveniant, so guilt-free, so LIBERAL.

BTW, when I was still teaching, I had a talk with a kindergarten teacher who was getting out of it. She was quitting because an incident to what I described below happened with a pair of 5 year olds in her kindergarten and the principal was arguing that the school had no liability. She was so disgusted by the whole thing, she chucked the teaching profession entirely.

I figured this had happened in either Europe or Scandinavia. These are the same people who tell us hicks here in America that it's okay for small children to view lewd behavior because "it's natural". There is nothing natural about a child that is exposed to soft as well as graphic sexual material. When you encourage this type of crap to be put in front of children, don't be suprised at what you get in return.

For kids age 4- 7, there is a natural curiosity about the opposite sex. I can remember the whole, 'you show me yours and I'll show you mine' game. It was more to see how boys and girls are different- and to get a good giggle- not to explore! Geez, it was nothing like this. This whole 'sex game' idea is just a bit out there.
