The article referred to a Kinder Morgan pipeline from LA. It is now carrying 85% as opposed to the usual 70%. Some of the shortfall is being made up from trucks which usually supply other AZ cities & towns, thus making their gas prices rise, although not as much. Most of that extra is from the Ciniza refinery in Ft. Wingate, NM.

It's not. That's why 1 out of 10 stations is bone dry right now.

Why is Gasolene at $2.00/gal in L.A. up $.50/gal from last month?

Judging from the gas station lines, in two-liter soda bottles carried by joggers.

They are testing damaged parts of the pipeline tonight beginning at 9pm and running through noontime tomorrow. One of the reps just visited the door of my workplace here in Tucson, which is apparently along the pipeline route.

They are going to run water through it tonight and parts of tomorrow, then begin repairs.
