If, by chance, he loses and the State elects to remove the monument, the job will probably be done by a private contractor. I don't think I'd care to own the company that took the job. I'd probably never get another job anywhere in the area.

U.S. District Judge Myron Thompson has said he may fine the state about $5,000 a day if the monument is not removed by the deadline. Exactly where does the federal government get the authority to impose fines on states? Seems like judicial fiat to me.

I would love to see the Fed Jerk...ooops Judge cite just what law he is breaking and where in the laws it prescribes a $5K/day fine. The ass can't and is just forcing his commie will on the people.
