Yes, Michael not allowing the family to care for her is suspicious. I suppose that whatever money is left would legally belong to Terri, even if the family has said he can have it.

That is the only reason I can imagine for his behavior.

I got that ill once and the Drs insisted I must be taking diuretics turn out to be a colon infection and nothing wanted to digest so I was vlmiting and in gut pain for a week. I have a situation in that I am my sons sole careprovider, except for some respite. So I did not go for medical care untill my heart started blurping and that scared me. A week in the hosp. on IV for all meds. I was lucky and now I take measures if illness is coming on but a low fat, vegie diet with lots of water seems to keep the GI healthy.

So you are right in saying there could be many causes for her to pass out and blood work showing problems.

I just really feel strongly on focusing on her as she is today and prayer that her g tube stays in place for nourishment.

Diuretics lowered my potassium level one time, too. It was the day of the OKC bombing....I suddenly had to lay my head on the dining room table, then couldn't raise it. Thought maybe my condition was emotional, but no.

A banana blended with a large glass of orange juice helps keep my potassium normal.

Anyway, do you know if there was initially a police investigation re: Terri's injuries? I've read everything the Schindlers gave links for - the bone scan bothers me greatly.

This woman is definitely not in a vegetative state. All one has to do is look at the videos.

I would never have believed that brain damage alone would be enough reason to starve someone to death. This woman can definitely feel pain and sensation.
