You people with this 'all war, all the time' are starting to go off the deep end. You want to defend another nation, pick up a gun, and go join their army. Perhaps you could explain to me why we should attack Syria and Iran? Do they represent a threat to these United States?

Let's see, Iran was tagged by the U.S. Justice Dept. for being behind the Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia that killed scores of Americans. They are driving quickly to pursue nuclear weapons and have an advanced missile program. They are active terrorist sponsors including openly backing and arming Hezbollah. They are a nation we have fought in the recent past; primarily in the late 1980's that saw the Navy's largest naval battle since WWII. Yup, no problem here.

Geez, I guess 9/11 has taught us nothing. I guess nuclear weapons in the hands of anti-western Islamic states with terorist ties is nothing to worry about at all. Nope, no threat to our national security there.

Yes...would you rather fight them in America? They will be coming, no doubt about that. Kill them where they sleep.

This would have been a valid question prior to the Bush pre-emption doctrine. There no longer needs to be a "clear & present" danger - only the possibilty that a threat might arise at sometime in the future.

Hmmm, let's see.... they harbor, train, arm and export terrorists. They are Muslim fanatics who are vowed to Allah to destroy "The Great Satan" (America and Israel). Their sympathizers have blown up huge buildings in U.S. cities and murdered thousands of civilian citizens.

Nah, they're no threat. Let's just ignore them and hope they go away, huh?

What a freakin' retard.

9/11/2001.

An act of war by radical Islam against the U.S. Worse than Pearl Harbor: on our soil, against innocent women and children.

By that act, they set the terms of the engagement: there are no innocents, no non-combatants.

9/11/2001. You have forgotten it. Some of us have not.

Syria financed and continues to finance the terrorists. Most of the 9/11 suicide group were Syrians. Iran is our sworn enemy and is frantically preparing nuclear weapons.

Forget Israel. 9/11/2001 was sufficent provocation to declare war on all states supporting terrorism, including Syria, Iran, Libya, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, et al.

It should be clear to even the most blind among us--such as yourself--that the U.S. is in great peril and will be until and unless we realize and act as if we are at war. The war is for our survival as a nation and for the survival of Western culture.

I have said many times that, were I president on 9/11, the following (at a minimum) is what I would do:

1. Request a formal declaration of war--against Islam.

2. On 9/12/2001 the visas of all foreign nationals who are citizens of terror-supporting states would have been revoked. The president has the power to do this without congressional action.

3. 100-kiloton nuclear bursts over the capitals of the above-listed nations.

4. One Megaton devices for Mecca and Medina.

5. Seal the borders.

6. Round up and deport all illegal aliens.

For starters.

We also need to create a 'Super Mossad'. Citizens should read of dozens of mysterious deaths in the night...all over the world...of terrorist leaders and supporters.

We are pretending that everything is normal, that we are not at war. Eventually they will nuke Chicago or release smallpox in Seattle. Maybe then it'll sink in.
