Apparently the state's sad shape is the fault of everyone but the captain of nearly 6 years and the Democratic party that's controlled the legislature since, what, the 1950s?

the fault of everyone but the captain But the Republicans pointed the ship at an ice berg 6 years ago. It's all their fault for not foreseeing the ice berg coming. Captain Davis couldn't decide which way to turn the ship so he had to hit it.
