The Moloch Peace Process

The Oslo Appease Process is misnamed. So is the Road Map. They are nothing new. Indeed, the correct name for them is the Cult of Moloch. Anyone with any doubts should just look at this evening’s news and the latest mass murder for peace. The Cult of Moloch has ruled Israel since 1993, under both Labor and Likud governments.

There are repeated references in the Bible to the Cult of Moloch or Molokh, a Canaanite or perhaps Phoenician cult. The chief feature of Moloch's worship seems to have been the sacrifice of children, and the usual expression for describing that sacrifice was "to pass through the fire", a rite carried out after the victims had been put to death. According to Deuteronomy, xii, 29-31; xviii, 9-14, the passing of children through fire was of Canaanite origin [cf. IV (II) Kings, xvi, 3]. The Carthaginians, descendants of Phoenicians and worshipers of Baal, appear to have adopted child sacrifice.

The passages of the original text in which the name probably stands for that of a god are Leviticus, xviii, 21; xx, 2-5; III (A.V. I) Kings, xi, 7; IV (II) Kings, xxiii, 10; Isaiah, xxx, 33; vii, 9; Jeremiah, xxxii, 35. The special center of such atrocities was just outside of Jerusalem, at a place called Tophet (probably "place of abomination"), in the Valley of Gehenom. According to III (I) Kings, xi, 7, Solomon erected "a temple" for Moloch "on the hill over against Jerusalem", and on this account he is at times considered as the monarch who introduced the cult into Israel.

The custom of causing one's children to pass through the fire seems to have been general in the Northern Kingdom [IV (II) Kings, xvii, 17; Ezekiel xxiii, 37], and it gradually grew in the Southern, encouraged by the royal example of Achaz (IV Kings, xvi, 3) and Manasseh [IV (II) Kings, xvi, 6], until it became prevalent in the time of the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah xxxii, 35), when King Josiah suppressed the worship of Moloch and defiled Tophet [IV (II) Kings, xxiii, 13 (10)].

The offerings by fire, the probable identity of Moloch with Baal, and the fact that in Assyria and Babylonia, Malik, and at Palmyra, Malach-bel, were sun-gods, have suggested to many that Moloch was a fire- or sun-god.

There is no Jewish state in the Middle East. Instead there is a Canaanite state with superficial Jewish trappings, ruled by rulers practicing the rites of Moloch. The practitioners and believers in the Cult of Moloch respond to each atrocity by pretending to strike new agreements with the murdering Islamofascists of the PLO. These respond to each such goodwill gesture with new atrocities.

They are always ever-so-surprised that the latest “ceasefire” has been blown to smithereens on the Jerusalem bus. They are astounded that the PLO’s pledge to keep its eye on terrorists but not arrest them has resulted in more than a score of dead Israelis, including children, on the Jerusalem bus. They are amazed that Israel’s releasing hundreds of terrorists did not result in tranquility, but in new mass murders, carried out by terrorists from the PLO-controlled area of Hebron. They are astonished that new demonstrations of Israeli weakness and defeatism and capitulation have produced new barbarism.

And the one thing of which we can all be certain is that after a few days, when this round's children are in their graves, the prophets of Moloch, especially the Canaanite pagan political Left in Israel, joined in short order by the Beilinized party of Ariel Sharon, will once again insist that the only solution is more sacrifices of children to the pagan peace god, more passing of children through fire, more human sacrifices for the delusion of peace.

For what choice is there?

The only reasonable explanation for this behavior is that Israelis are ambivalent about their right to live in a Jewish nation. If they truly believed in their rights they would respond to the Palestinian terrorists as the US has responded to Bin Laden and Saddam.

Israel is the only nation in the world, with the possible exception of the Vatican, and other nations without militaries, that does not seek to destroy those who are attempting to destory it, murdering its women and children.

Those Pals who will not live in peace should be expelled from the land, whatever percentage of them that is.

What's more is that when Sharon refuses to release more of the pali terrorists then the pali terrorist leadership yells, crys, whines, screams to the international press that Israel isn't living up to the road map to h**l agreement. Remember: the best offense is a screaming defense yelling "foul" that the murdering palis do so well. And the liberal Israeli left just rolls over and plays dead.

Ooops, I'm offended!

Although I agree that there is a cult of Moloch present in the Middle East, it is obvious (and generally recognized) that it its the Palestinians/Arabs who continue to send there children to death in the name of "their god", that are committing these atrocities.

If the left is to be faulted, it is their intransient belief that such horror is an anomoly and does not exist as a society ... if we can only understand them and "feel their pain".

That said, it IS time to accept the realities of the situation and defeat evil when it attempts to rise!

I hate to keep repeating myself, but then again, not really.

The only roadmap to peace is for Israel to choose a defensible border, and seal it. Any Israelis living outside the line so chosen must be relocated to the safe side of the line. Any Arabs on the Israeli side who are not interested in living under Israeli rule must be compensated and expelled.

Any homes, Arab or Israel, which must be bulldozed as the line is established must be compensated; anyone who must be relocated, Arab or Israeli, must likewise be compensated. But Israel must not hesitate or delay. Every day they delay is another day lost and more lives lost.

There must be no border-crossing by land into Israel. This means an end to commerce and employment in Israel for Palestinian Arabs, but so be it. The Arab areas outside the line will be cut off from Israel and would have no choice but to re-attach themselves to Jordan either defacto or de jure. Whether Jordan is interested or not would no longer be Israel's concern.

Gaza can go its own way, most likely being reabsorbed into Egypt. In this case as well, Israel must draw the line it is willing to defend and abandon the rest.

Whether the Arab region calls itself independent or not would likewise no longer be Israel's concern. But regardless of what it says publicly, the Arab regions of the West Bank will never be a viable independent state. It is not viable and consequently it will never be. Its only future is as a part of Jordan.

Historically, Palestine was divided into two parts; a sliver for the Jewish settlers and refugees, and the rest for the Arabs. The Arab portion was re-named Jordan; Jordan is Arab Palestine just as Israel is Jewish Palestine. The diplomatic struggle to create a separate state in the West Bank is without any basis in history or law, and as an economic entity separate from Israel and Jordan has no future whatever. Every day spent trying to create something that is not viable and will never be, is another day wasted and more lives lost.

Since there seems to be a LOT of Pali's willing to die for their cause, why don't the Israeli's just line them up and send them off?

You don't have to convince me. Actually, American administrations have known that for years, just haven't picked up on it yet. No photo ops, I guess.

-------------------------------------

http://www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org/index.jsp?section=papers&code=94-D_23 Thoughtful military experts have for many years recognized the risks for Israel should it no longer be able to control the territories it acquired in the course of the Six-Day War in June 1967. For example, shortly after the end of that conflict, the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff concluded that, "From a strictly military point of view, Israel would require the retention of some captured territory in order to provide militarily defensible borders."

The Chiefs made the following specific findings:

"The prominent high ground running north-south through the middle of West Jordan [Judea and Samaria] generally...would provide Israel with a militarily defensible border."

"The commanding territory east of the boundary of 4 June 1967 [the Golan Heights]...overlooks the Galilee area. To provide a defense in-depth, Israel would need a strip about 15 miles wide extending from the border of Lebanon to the border of Jordan."

"By occupying the Gaza Strip, Israel would trade approximately 45 miles of hostile border for eight. Configured as it [was prior to 1967], the strip serve[d] as a salient for introduction of Arab subversion and terrorism and its retention would be to Israel's military advantage."

"To defend the Jerusalem area would require that the boundary of Israel be positioned to the east of the city to provide for the organization of an adequate defensive position."

…………………………

These findings are as valid today as they were in 1967. In fact, they have been reaffirmed again and again by knowledgeable military professionals. For example, in October 1988, 100 senior U.S. generals and admirals issued a public call for Israel to "retain the Jordan River line as [her] eastern security border" noting that:

"...If Israel loses this line, it would have virtually no warning of attack, its border would be three times longer than the present one. In the midsection of the country it would be 9 to 18 miles from the Mediterranean. Virtually all the population would be subject to artillery bombardment. The plain north of Tel Aviv could be riven by an armored salient within hours. The quick mobilization of its civilian army -- Israel's main hope for survival -- would be disrupted easily, and perhaps irreversibly."

…………………………

In 1991, Lieutenant General Thomas Kelly, the highly respected chief of Operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff during Desert Storm, said, "Israel's control over these areas is the only guarantee, however imperfect, of peace. Their loss is a prescription for war." He added that:

"The West Bank mountains, and especially their approaches, are the critical terrain. If an enemy secures those passes, Jerusalem and all of Israel become uncovered. Without the West Bank, Israel is only eight miles wide at its narrowest point. That makes it indefensible."

…………………………

Importantly, the Israeli Defense Forces are under no illusion about the abiding importance of strategic analyses like that performed by the Joint Chiefs. As the IDF Chief of Staff Ehud Barak said in May 1993:

"The 1967 Joint Chiefs of Staff memorandum [is] still applicable. The Arab arms are reaching superiority over Israel with a qualitative as well as quantitative edge....If Israel has to retake the territories proposed to be given up, we cannot do it without tremendous casualties."

Don't forget 60% of the refugees are in camps in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. Just resettling them where they are solves a big chunk of the problem.

The Carthaginians, descendants of Phoenicians and worshipers of Baal, appear to have adopted child sacrifice.

"Carthage must be destroyed."
Marcus Porcius Cato (234-149 BC)

As must be the palestinians who are sacrificing both Jewish and Palestinian children in tthis sacrilege.

And people wonder why God wanted the Israelites to kill the inhabitants of the Promised Land to take it --- those pagan people were performing attrocities that if done today, the whole world would agree that wiping them out was totally called for. Not only were they performing child sacrifices, but they were spreading sexually transmitted plagues via their daily pagan "worship" acts with temple prosititutes and each other. Wiping them out was doing the world a favor and also was necessary to keep the plague from spreading to the Israelites.
